Budget Jetset recommends using a low cost airline to drive down the price of travel. If you are heading to a destination off the beaten path, than more than likely there is a local low cost airline that will take you there from an airport hub. You just need to do the research. US travelers are familiar with our regional low fare airlines including AirTran, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit and Virgin America. It’s more challenging for US travels to identify these types of airlines overseas.

- Spanair - Spanish low cost airline with flights throughout Spain and many other European destinations
- Tiger – Low cost airline serving Singapore, Australia and South-East Asian and Asia-Pacific destinations
- Vueling – Spanish low price airline offer flights to Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and other popular destinations in Spain from Amsterdam, Paris, Rome & other European cities
